William Woods University announces graduates
William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri, held commencement ceremonies May 9. The commencement speaker was 1990 WWU graduate Gina Gentry Loudon, an author, anchor, columnist, talk show host and frequent news commentator known as "Dr. Gina." Loudon is a regular commentator on Fox News and Fox Business shows and originator of the field of Policology-the nexus of politics and psychology.

William Woods University faculty of various disciplines have the opportunity each spring to designate one graduating senior as a Distinguished Scholar. Area Students Serve as Mentors for Freshman Advantage at William Woods University
For the eighth year, William Woods University will offer a three-week summer program, Freshman Advantage, to help incoming WWU freshmen gain a jump-start on college.
The program, which accepts the first 72 students who apply, is open to first-time college freshmen. It is designed to aid students in the transition from high school to college. The program, which will be held June 11- June 29, is directed and taught by WWU faculty members.
This year 12 mentors are assisting the participants by tutoring, leading weekend activities and serving as community advisers in the residence halls. The mentors are selected by Freshman Advantage faculty through an application and interview process.
